Furnace Lab
The high-temp furnace lab is equipped with two Deltech controlled-atmosphere furnaces and large volume horizontal tube furnace, all capable of achieving temperatures up to 1600 ºC.
Piston-cylinder Lab
This lab contains two Rockland piston-cylinders which can be used to simulate deep-Earth environments at pressures of up to 4 GPa and temperatures up to 2000 ºC.
